金钱鱼（金鼓）

也叫：金鼓、金古、变身苦、遍身苦、黑星银、spotted scat · Scatophagus argus

南方港湾、河口和码头边能钓到：钓半水，挂海草（水草）；例：也有人用腌白菜、南极虾冷冻的南极磷虾，打窝、挂钩都常用。。它背鳍、臀鳍的硬刺有毒，钓上来用长嘴钳摘钩，手别碰刺。

粤港叫金鼓，正名金钱鱼，也叫变身苦。身体侧扁，满身斑点；画图时轮廓近方形，背鳍前半的硬刺和后半的软鳍之间有一道深缺口（图鉴写法）。能吃，市场也卖鲜鱼；鳍刺有毒，可以照篮子鱼的做法，下锅前先把刺剪掉。

  • 钓半水，挂海草（水草）最常见

怎么认

  • 身体侧扁，满身斑点2；例：轮廓近方形27。
  • 例：背鳍硬刺段和软鳍段之间有一道深缺口27。
  • 背鳍、臀鳍的硬刺画成危险部位10。

住哪、吃什么、什么时候

  • 港湾、内湾、河口、红树林和河流下游4；例：小鱼在咸淡水交界的地方多20。
  • 浅水5；多深各家不一21。
  • 杂食：藻类、小虫小虾都吃6，所以钓友挂海草也能钓。
  • 例：香港有渔具店说 3–10 月较易钓，活跃水温约 20–27 °C15,16。

怎么吃

  • 能吃，市场也卖鲜鱼17；例：钓友说肉嫩，煎、焖、煮汤都行18。

安全

  • 背鳍、臀鳍的硬刺有毒10，扎了剧痛11；例：腹鳍硬刺也可能有毒，毒腺在刺的基部24；扎了还会红肿25。
  • 用长嘴钳摘钩12，手别碰鳍刺。
  • 被扎了：伤口泡热水止痛，水温以不烫伤为限13；例：泡了一小时还痛、或刺断在皮下，就去医院26。
  • 带回家先剪刺：篮子鱼（泥猛）这类鳍刺有毒的鱼，下锅前用剪刀剪掉鳍刺14，金钱鱼可以照做。

认鱼泥猛

白天在码头、鱼排边打窝，用手竿浮钓或小钩串钩；鳍上的硬棘有毒，别空手抓。

认鱼乌头

在码头、河口先打窝、打在一个点，再用手竿或立漂找它在的那一层；咬口很轻，漂一动轻轻扬竿。

钓场鱼排 / 蚝排

在排边、排下面垂直放线，用短筏竿看竿梢，先找到鱼在的那一层；水流大加铅、水流小减铅。

钓场河口

河口打海鲈：找桥墩、支流和水闸汇进来的叉口，夜里打桥灯照出的明暗交界；米诺、软饵一层层找。钓乌头和码头一样先打窝再浮钓，钓黄脚鱲、黑鲷在不太挂底的地方沉底。涨潮前留好退路，别走进泥滩。

钓场防波堤

站在堤面上、别站上消波块，往石缝、消波块缝边和伸进流里的堤头下钩。

安全带毒棘的鱼

钓到泥猛、沙毛（鳗鲶）、成仔鱼（海鲶）、狮子鱼、石头鱼、鬼鲉、石九公、魟，别空手抓：用毛巾或鱼夹按住，钳子摘钩，不想处理就剪线。被扎了先叫人，手脚的伤泡热水止痛：最高约 45 °C，让同伴用手试，受得了、不烫，泡 30–90 分钟；别冰敷、别加压包扎；扎进胸、腹、颈的刺别拔，直接送医。
